一步入新風貌的 Beef Club 之後,眾人很難不被開放式壁爐上,彷彿野外篝火的真實火焰裝置吸引,這是餐廳希望勾起民眾憶起「火」這項古老力量的象徵、烹飪的起源;而一旁的鹽桌,也成為引人好奇的料理展示台;在美食入口之前,先享受視覺帶來的體驗,在在呼應餐廳核心主題火與鹽(Fire and Salt)。

總部位於柏林的 Ester Bruzkus Architekten 創立於 2002 年,在全球各地皆有建築與室內設計作品,他們喜歡運用精準的規劃、材料的對比、充滿驚喜的設計細節等結合既有環境的限制與新可能。設計過程中,Ester Bruzkus Architekten 遵循最基本的永續原則:盡可能不浪費,因此本次也部分運用既有空間中的建材,包括拆除並重新運用地板、牆壁、照明裝置與廚房設備等。

團隊本次為座席帶來兩種截然不同的區域氛圍,一是明亮通透、能夠穿透大片玻璃窗享受室外陽光的座位,另一處則是較為典雅幽暗的私人包廂區,提供舉辦慶祝活動、希望用餐保有隱私的人們預約享用。將視線移至開放式廚房,可見餐廳選用三種不同質感的燒磚組合爐灶,包括有上釉與沒上釉的磚等;廚房外的地板也可以見到磚材元素。

此外,除了前面提及鹽磚展示台之外,木製餐桌也有別於過往油裝、漆裝等處理方式,特別經過鹽處理以呈現獨一無二的顏色與質地。Beef Club 會在自家設計的烤架上,使用本地山毛櫸木烹飪有機或具有 Demeter 品質(依據生機互動農耕法生產,並經過 Demeter 栽培協會嚴格篩選與認證。)的肉類、魚類、蔬菜與香草,並優先使用在地食材。最有趣的是,顧客可以選擇使用哪一種鹽來調味。
